We also contributed to a comparative analysis of researcher attitudes to research ethics review in Central Asia.
Nazarbayev University acknowledged the effectiveness of AHRECS’ work:
AHRECS ‘understands the complexities of research ethics in Central Asia. They supported Nazarbayev University through dialogue and advice to navigate complex ethical issues’. (Dilara Sarbassova, Head of Research Compliance and Integrity)
‘Professor Israel’s involvement as an international expert has elevated NU’s standing as a leader in research ethics’ (Prof. Elaine Sharplin and the Central Asia Research Ethics team)
