Curtin University

Our Animal Ethics Team provided a tailor-made training workshop for Curtin University’s Animal Ethics Committee (AEC), providing a simulation exercise (‘the fishbowl’) and enabling reflection on good practice throughout. Feedback from participants stated that

“…were very impressed with the workshop we delivered. The AEC members unanimously agreed the workshop was worthwhile and exceptionally well-structured. The AEC members were encouraged to think outside the box, which was a great change of pace and highly appreciated. Anecdotes about other AECs were particularly impactful, and it reinforced that the AEC are doing a commendable job. The fishbowl exercise was another highlight, with AEC members finding it both engaging and beneficial. Overall, the workshop left a positive impression on all who attended.”
