Abstract
This open access paper that was published in May 2022 looks at the effectiveness of research integrity training that focuses on the responsible reporting of the results of research. In our experience, professional development that focuses on compliance and research misconduct processes is less engaging and effective than strategies that are focussed on the practicalities of conducting quality research responsibly and well.
