AHRECS designed and delivered a half-day workshop (conducted twice) to accomodate around 40 experienced Chairs / Deputy Chairs of QHealth research ethics committees. This extremely well received workshop explored difficult challenges confronting hospital-based committees. The format of the workshop involved the active participation of attendees. This workshop was described as “world class” and extremely beneficial. This was followed by a full day workshop for new members of QHealth research ethics committees, which was later described as a marvellous orientation and invaluable for even the few experienced members who attended.
