If you are collaborating on a research project involving human biospecimens, or on a research ethics committee reviewing a project involving human biospecimens, or even in a research office and institution where human biospecimen research is being conducted, an important question to ask is how and from where the specimens were collected.  Hopefully, the answer doesn’t look anything like this humorous Don Mayne cartoon.
