There is a refrain that ethics officers and Chairs hear a lot in response to difficult review feedback. We hear this enough times that if we owned a parrot, it would be a phrase that it would have learnt. Being conscious of precedence and the reasons why two cases are different are important. But this kind of complaint should be the start of a conversation, not the end.
